Whimsy Stamps - Naughty Puppies

Hello! I am thrilled to be guesting with Whimsy Stamps again this month, and I have a cute card to share with you today!

I'm using an adorable stamp set called Naughty Puppies for my card. I have puppies on the mind right now, because my brother's Australian Shepard just had nine puppies, and my daughter is getting one of them. We already have three dogs, but we love our pets, and she has been wanting a dog of her own for a long time now. I'm kind of excited too, because there is nothing better than a new puppy in the house!

Isn't that an adorable image? So fun! Anyway, I used Bristol Board for my stamping. I really love it because you can use any medium on it. It blends wonderful with Copic markers and also for watercoloring and Distress Inks. I colored the cute little guy with Copic markers, then I watercolored in the background.

I cut my design out with a stitched rectangle die, then mounted that with foam tape onto a card base covered with pink gingham paper. I then added a few little drops of Nuvo Crystal Clear drops.

Neat & Tangled - Thankful Autumn

Hello! I'm here to share a card with you that I did with some fun Neat & Tangled products! I know, I know, it's another fall card. I figure if people can make Christmas cards all year, then I can make fall cards all year too :) Besides, it seems like Christmas sneaks up on us so fast, that Fall kind of gets squished out and left behind. Can't have that now can we?

For this card, I'm using the Triangle Patterned Builder dies, Maple Leaves Journaling Card, and Maple Thanks. The paper is from Doodle Bug Design.

I started by cutting  a lot of the smallest triangles from the Triangle Pattern Builder Dies,  out of the fall colored patterned papers. I then drew a diagonal line across my white card base, and started piecing my quilt design. Once I had one row down against the line, lining up the other pieces by eye was a chinch!

After I got all of my pieces glued down, I stamped the sentiments from the Maple Leaves Journaling card along the edges of some of the squares. Then I cut the Maple Thanks die out of white card stock and glued that down at an angle.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have enjoyed my card!

Neat & Tangled July Release!

Hi there! Welcome to the final day of the May Neat & Tangled release countdown! All of the new products are available in the Neat & Tangled Store NOW!

For my final card for the release countdown I used the new Triangle Coverplate Die along with the Together stamp set, coordinating die and some petals from Flower Medallion Builder. I cut the Triangle Coverplate die out of white card stock and layered that over some light green card stock.

I cut the Together die out of light aqua card stock and layered that onto the white. I adhered this with foam tape and tucked the cut out flower petals underneath.

I stamped the rest of the sentiment onto white card stock with some light aqua ink and adhered that below the Together die with foam tape.

Neat & Tangled - Puppies Favorite Things

Hi there! Welcome to the first day of the July Neat & Tangled release countdown! All of the new products will be available in the Neat & Tangled Store on Friday July 7th at 8:00 am EST!

I just love this card! I am a huge dog lover, and I've had puppies on the brain for the past few months. I really need another puppy! Anyway, for the background on this card, I used my Peerless watercolors and just did some random painting with pink, aqua, green, and yellow keeping it kind of soft and pastel looking.

All of the cute images were colored with Copic markers and cut out with the coordinating dies. They were adhered with foam tape. The puppies paws can be cut out with a separate die so you can slip the little items under his paws! So cute!

The sentiment is white embossed on black card stock, cut out and attached with foam tape, then the bottom part was just stamped directly onto the background.

Neat & Tangled - Schoolhouse

Hi there! Welcome to the first day of the July Neat & Tangled release countdown! All of the new products will be available in the Neat & Tangled Store on Friday July 7th at 8:00 am EST!

For my card today I am using the adorable new stamp set and coordinating dies from Elena Roussakis called Schoolhouse. It has some really cute images! For the background, I used some painter's tape and taped about a third of the way down and blended the green grass. I removed the tape and starting at the top of the paper, blended the blue sky.

I colored all of the cute images with Copic markers, and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I adhered the images with foam tape, stamped the sentiment with black ink, and added some clear sequins to finish it up!

Neat & Tangled - You're A Gem

Hi there! Welcome to the first day of the July Neat & Tangled release countdown! All of the new products will be available in the Neat & Tangled Store on Friday July 7th at 8:00 am EST!

For this card I am using the beautiful new You're a Gem stamp set and coordinating dies from Neat & Tangled.  I first stamped and embossed the sentiment in white on my background, then I blended some Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet Distress ink over that, and sprinkled with water.

For the gemstones, I white embossed the images on white card stock and blended different colored inks over top, then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I adhered them to the card with foam tape.

After I was finished with everything I added some of the new sequin mix Starry Night.

Neat & Tangled Together

Hi there! Welcome to the first day of the July Neat & Tangled release countdown! All of the new products will be available in the Neat & Tangled Store on Friday July 7th at 8:00 am EST!

For my card I am using a beautiful new stamp set and coordinating die called Together. I blended the background with Picked Raspberry and sprinkled it with water.

I cut the together die out of paper that I had blended with Distress ink as well and layered it onto plain white card stock. The little greenery and flowers that I tucked underneath the together sentiment are from the Magical Day stamp set, and I colored them with Copic markers.

I embossed the second part of the sentiment with white embossing powdered onto black card stock and just cut it out and adhered with foam tape. I added a few of the new sequin mix Starry Night to finish it up!
